A typically charming interior scene by Alfred Provis. Bears a gently faded but still legible label on the back proving for the first time,(to us that is!),that the scene is in fact the artist's cottage at Kingstone Lisle, Wantage, Berks, and that more than likely the subjects in these genre paintings are of the artist's own family.
