Alfred Heaton Cooper is extremely well known for fine watercolours but he did occasionally paint in oils. This is one of two currently offered oil paintings of the English Lake District and are excellent examples of his work. In good condition and well presented in bespoke frames. Titled on the stretcher -'Hayfield, Hawkeshead Nr. Coniston.
