'Let's take the boat out. Wait until darkness' Not the art of Peter Gabriel but another fine Alfred Fontville de Breanski oil painting. The moon rises above Mount Snowdon as a man rows his boat ashore in a view little changed today. A difficult light to accurately portray but de Breanski Jnr has succeeded in doing so with lovely subtle colouring. Signed lower left and titled by de Breanski verso.
