A lovely peaceful summer's evening scene in the Trossachs, up in the hills behind the small settlement of Duncraggan. Duncraggan was a tiny hamlet in Perthshire, now Brig o' Turk. Nestling between the Lochs Achray and Venachar, the hamlet gains a mention in the first Canto of Walter Scott's influential poem, The Lady of the Lake:
Speed, Malise, speed! The lake is past,
Duncraggan's huts appear at last,
And peep, like moss-grown rocks, half seen
Half hidden in the copse so green;
