Another quite superb de Breanski, one of two recent arrivals (the other, 'Evening, A Mountain Torrent) both in original condition and in matching period swept frames. Mid-morning, high up in the Dunkeld valley sunbeams streak the mountainside and shadows from cloud-filled sky dapple the valley below. A herdsman watches over his cattle as they water in the glacial blue river and on the path above him a shepherd with small flock of sheep. One of those paintings you'd never tire of admiring!

NB Presented here in original condition but the painting does require a light clean, which is included in the price and post-lockdown can be completed before Christmas.
