A slight departure from the 'norm' for Goodwin but nevertheless a most charming scene and an opportunity to acquire a major name at an affordable price. Originally laid on backboard, this has been retained in framing to show the full picture with border as executed by Goodwin in his very particular style and use of watercolour.
