A lovely still life with blue harebells among bell heather, gorse, ferns, delicate grasses and sedges. A white moth/butterfly feeds on the purple heather and on the moss a grasshopper rests. Typical of Durer's still lifes in both subject and quality. Signed lower left and dated 1879.
