A. D. Bell (1884 - 1966)
A.D.Bell was the pseudonym used by the listed British artist Wilfred Knox.
Knox used the A.D Bell alias extensively when producing paintings for an art dealer in Birmingham where he was born.
AD Bell produced paintings predominantly of marine and coastal scenes (including clippers), and sometimes genre scenes, usually in watercolour or gouache.
Paintings by A.D.Bell are now well sought after and demand is increasing.
