Still in existence today the Tynedale Hunt was formed in 1839 and on a chilly looking March day in 1908 John Atkinson followed the hunt and painted en-plein air, here at the start (presumably) of the meet at Dilston. Signed, dated and inscribed. A pair with 'Tynedale Hunt.'
