A lovely, well painted landscape, perhaps in the fenlands. In the distance is a church (that may be recognisable to some), grazing cows and a windmill; but the nicest touch is the Lapwing, head down, and seeing off the cow encroaching on her territory.
Much in the manner of T.S.Cooper but quite rare! Lovely condition and in a fine swept frame.
