This is one of two paintings that have come from a private source. Acquired by the family direct from the Stone Gallery and believed to be from his very first exhibition there. Both pictures have been held in that family until the present time. Described on the Stone Gallery label as 'Sketch for Painting'. So the title we are offering is a bit tongue-in cheek! Although painted on Radio Times newsprint, this does not detract from the charm of this picture.
