Superb and typical example of John Scott's marine work showing 'The Welcome' off Tynemouth. As usual, showing the ship in profile and a different view of it in the distance, with the coastline in the background. Signed. One of two Scotts we have available at present - his work is quite rare and amazingly, like the buses, one doesn't see one for ages then two arrive at once (from totally different sources in this case)!
